Love By Design

On May 3, the new UP Channel movie Love By Design will debut at 7 PM.

Danielle (Giulia Nahmany) is living her dream in New York City. She’s got a successful career at a high fashion magazine, a great apartment and a handsome boyfriend. But when a coworker steals her idea (and her boyfriend), Danielle loses her self-control to her ultra-diva boss — and then loses her job. With her life in ruins, she heads home to Romania to the comfort of her family and friends. Now with the help of her colorful family, Danielle will rediscover herself and the passion that made her fall in love with fashion in the first place.

The cast includes Jane Seymour and David Oakes.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron (James Spader), a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Mad Max: Fury Road
Opens: May 15

Though determined to wander the post-apocalyptic wasteland alone, Mad Max (Tom Hardy) joins Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a fugitive imperator, and her band who are all trying to escape a savage warlord. The cast also includes Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoe Kravitz and Riley Keough.

Pitch Perfect 2
Opens: May 15

The Barden Bellas return and are determined to enter a worldwide competition that an American group has never won in order to regain their status and right to perform. Tomorrowland
Opens: May 22

A former boy-genius (George Clooney) and a gifted teenager (Britt Robertson) set out on a dangerous mission to unearth the secrets of “Tomorrowland,” an enigmatic location caught between time and space.

Aloha
Opens: May 29

A celebrated military contractor returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, Jay Baruchel, John Krasinski, Alec Baldwin and Danny McBride.

San Andreas
Opens: May 29

In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter. The cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Colton Haynes, Carla Gugino, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Paul Giamatti and Will Yun Lee.
